Building Roxborough Park Custom home in the Colorado mountains or Front Range can be tricky. Out here the ground isn’t always flat. In fact, most of the time it isn’t. We are experts in fitting a home to a site. This particular one-half acre site has a steep slope across it. Luckily we are able to enter on the high side. That allows us to take advantage of the slope and the views.
To the east and north the property has fantastic views of the city. For this reason we placed the great room in this Roxborough Park custom home to take advantage of these evening views. We also incorporated a corner deck to take advantage of sunrises. There is no better way to wake up than watching a famous Colorado sunrise with a cup of coffee.
The southern and eastern views are captured by the dining room and kitchen. We situated these spaces to still capture morning sunlight. This allows the kitchen to be bright and light but not overwhelmed. There are also good, distant views that also light up at night. Though much calmer than the city lights.

A light filled sun room is situated on the south side. This makes the space great for plants inside this Roxborough Park Custom. It also brings in great light throughout the day.
The last space is the master suite. This space is secluded from the rest of the home. It takes advantage of those great western views the Front Range of Colorado is known for – the mountains. The western views are dominated by open forest land that will never see structures. This is the perfect view and setting for relaxing at the end of the day. A private deck is also just off the master suite to take advantage of those gorgeous Colorado sunsets.
